Well it has been a long time since either of us have posted anything to the blog so I thought I would do it. A lot has been going on since we were on here last. We found out that we are having a girl. She is going to be here before we know it, actually anytime now. Lily had her babies. 4 little cute white fluff balls. They are almost 6 weeks now and they are so playful. I don't want to get rid of them and I dread the day that they leave us. Jimmy is working first shift now so we see each other a lot more and I am not working until after the baby comes. Well that pretty much sums it up.

Happy Mothers Day!
So we did not do to much on Mothers day. Rachel worked and I went to see mom for awhile. We then had Rachels mom over for dinner. Rachel recieved a few cards, a locket, and I cooked dinner ;) The family left, and we decided to go for a ride of course stopping by DQ for a blizzard. We normally take the camera with us just in case, and well we forgot only to have a couple great photo ops. Just outside of town there was a young doe hanging out, and was walking right to our car stopping probably only 20 feet to stare at us. We did have the cell phones, which take "ok" pictures. The picture below is the best of the group.

New Car:
Well...
We did it. We bought a new car today, and get to pick it up on Saturday. Upon looking we could not find anything at a decent price with low mileage and with "Baby Armbruster" on the way we wanted a family car that was reliable and would last us awhile.
We found a 2004 Hyundai with 18,800 miles on it with a sticker price of 13,000. We drove it and "discussed" the price with the dealer. Then bought a new car. The photos below are of a simlar car. Our car looks the same, but our interior is tan.

Baby Update:
OK. So we went to the doctor on Monday and well she scared the shit out of us. We go in expecting a normal visit and hear the heart beat. Tina, the doc, gets the fancy little machine out to listen to the heartbeat, but she cant find one!! She tries and tries, and starts telling Rachel that this is normal. Question: Just how normal is it not to hear the heart beat? Anyhow, Tina says it is pretty normal, and that the heartbeat was competing with Rachels belly growling. She said just to be safe we will go get an ultrasound (Yippee). So we start heading that way and someone is in the room already. We get sent back to our room to WAIT! Have you ever had to wait to find out if you baby has a heartbeat. We only had to wait a couple minutes which seemed like a life time. Finally we get in the room and hurray. The baby is fine and the doc found a heartbeat. We really did not get a clear picture of "Baby Armbruster" because he/she was to active. Every time the doctor would get a descent picture baby would jump around.

Be advised: The above picture is NOT baby Armbruster, but a photo found on the internet of an 11 week old baby.

Baby Time
Well most people know this already, but for those of you who do not, we are having a baby. He or she will be here on or around October 22nd. We are very excited. We go Monday to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We are going to try and get an ultrasound that day as well. We have been so busy we haven't had time to get on here.
On a sadder note, my grandfather passed away on Monday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Please pray for my family, this is a very hard time for all of us.

Well things haven't changed much. Our holidays went well. We had a lot of fun with our friends and family. We hope everyone else's went well too. Lily is going to be having her puppies soon and that is really exciting. We have about 7 days left to go until the little white angels are here. It is going to be really hard to get rid of them all. I want to keep one, but Jimmy said no. She has changed here in the last week. She has become very loving and needy and I hate to say it, but I wish she was like that all of the time. She is so high maintenance, but we love her very much.
Whitey is doing good. He plays a little too rough with Lily right now, but he doesn't understand that he cannot do that right now. He is such a good dog though.
Jimmy and I are great. We are very happy with our lives and everyone and everything in it. We are planning on adding 12 feet onto the side of our house this spring or summer. I cannot wait. I will have a huge living room / dining room and a bigger bedroom. Well we will see how it goes. Overall, we are all really happy and doing good. Stay tuned for more dirt on our lives...
